I don't really see any increase in cost. A lot is manual effort, using a separate oil bucket. Water-based coolants are actually cheaper.

I'm sure there are shops out there making the effort. I'm sure a lot are doing the bare minimum. Probably two-thirds of shops don't care or don't know.
