When you have everybody, it brings some confidence for the other lines. We had success with that (line) at the start of the year and hopefully it can help us win games the rest of the way.
We wanted to get back on track. You go two games without scoring a goal and it gets in your mind a bit.
We're still in first. We lost a couple games recently and they won their games so they got closer to us. It's going to be a big game. We want to stay at the top.
Sometimes the energy drops after that. A lot of teams are tired now, a lot of games in a short period of time, and we just need to battle and fight through it.
You don?t want to think about it, but it?s in the back of your mind. In the last two games I had some great chances. It was good to get this one tonight and now I can turn the page. It will be a lot easier to focus now.
I like the way the team's playing right now. It's tough, you go on the road and the games are tight, especially against New York, and we found a way to win a game on the road in overtime again. It shows the character the team has.
It's the kind of game you look at at the end of the season and that may be two points we could have had in the standings. All the work we did the last few games was great, but to play the way we played tonight and not put the effort into at least getting the chance to get those two points is not the right way to do it.
In the second and third periods, we didn't compete. It was pretty much one of the worst games we played this year.
I think we were close before the lockout, and now, even though we have a bunch of new guys, we?re still close, if not closer to being a championship team.
We dominated the game in Buffalo because of the start. The start of the game is very important for us, especially with the type of team we have.
You always want to do something special when you're coming back.
I'm starting to feel better. ... I have to say, I think the three of us are starting to feel a little more energy.
I'm shocked. This is not the way we wanted to finish the season. You don't want to lose like that in front of your fans.
I talked to the doctor (Saturday) and it's (more) positive that I originally thought.
