We were trying to get the ball to Brittany Brooks, our best 3-point shooter who has hit big shots all year. We didn't execute as I had hoped, but we had chances. Pretty much everybody on the floor had a chance at tying it up, and we just didn't finish them.

Our defense turned into our offense. I think Brittany Brooks did an excellent job. She was a big factor in to why Sydney didn't have a great game. Sydney didn't shoot well, but a lot of that may have been because of our defense.
fluke laid people script
(Region III) didn't go as a lot of people scripted it, but that was how our script was laid out. A lot of people were surprised, but I don't think it is a fluke that we won.
best good represent teams
We're going to do the best we can to represent our region. There are some good teams there and we'll just do the best we can when we get to Austin.
