came thankful
I'm thankful for our fans. The ones who came made a difference.
aggressive forcing great half luxury nice second
I like the way he played. In the second half he was forcing an aggressive tempo. He did a nice job. He's a great luxury to have.
certainly chew minutes playing unless
I may not play him 35 minutes unless we need to. But I certainly am not going to let him take the day off. And I'm going to chew on him if he's not playing good.
close continue leave ncaa season selected today tournament
If (the NCAA tournament teams) were selected today I think we'd be in. But there's still no guarantees. We have to continue to play well and close out the season the right way and not leave everything to chance.
I really don't know what Tubby told them at halftime, but they were a completely different team.
certainly second team
I really don?t know what Tubby told them at halftime. But that certainly was a different team in the second half.
defend four goes great guys held left shooting shot
Hey, we held them to 37-percent shooting -- that's great defense. You can say we didn't defend the 3, but about four were with 1 second, 2 seconds, left on the shot clock, guys on them and they get it off, and it goes in.
prayers
I don't know if this was a must win. But I know my prayers were answered.
care charles expected friday game guys hill last practices ready respond saturday
Charles doesn't care if the game is physical. But some guys respond differently. I thought after our practices last Friday and Saturday that Hill and Townes were ready to play like All-Americans. That's what I expected to see Sunday, but it didn't happen.
cases gary guard influence point positive
Gary has been a positive influence. He always simulates the other team's point guard in practice, and in many cases he's a better player.
few fighting fights-and-fighting georgia record
Georgia was fighting for their lives. They wanted to get to the NIT. I think a .500 record is enough (for that), but they may feel they need a few more wins.
conference game georgia good leading rebound running stops team
Georgia is the leading team in the SEC, in conference play, in steals. We have to be smart. We need to rebound the ball, get a good running game going and get stops on defense.
aggressive careful created defense encouraged georgia guys halftime offense patience picked second transition
Georgia is a very aggressive team, and we had to be careful not to get out of our rhythm. At halftime I encouraged our guys to have more patience if the transition (opportunity) wasn't there. But our defense really picked up in the second half and created some offense for us.
care senior
I'm disappointed because he's a senior and you've got to take care of business.
