Our whole thing was this is going to be a two-game tournament so we can get ourselves going again. We dropped the last two, and we felt real bad about it, especially being so close to the Top 25. Now, we got Dayton coming in here, GW coming in here. Both of them are real good teams. We didn't want to just get back on track with some mediocre teams. We have to get on track with a really good squad.

They've got a great player in Adam Morrison. Even though he has no class whatsoever. He made big plays for them down the stretch. But he has no class whatsoever. He's such a great player, you would think he'd have some class and be the great player that he is. The things he was saying to (Justin) Cage and me were just ridiculous.

Everyone was sitting around acting like we blew it. Everybody was like, 'Oh my God. We blew our opportunity to win.' But I looked at the guys and said, 'Come on, we have to stay with it. There's no way we come this far to have them take it from us.' We knew our game plan was going to pull us through. That's what happened.

He still plays a huge role on this squad. Everyone looks to him and can see how the game could be easily taken away, so don't take it for granted. He's such a leader and we're so glad that he came along with us.

Exciting. We've got so much firepower coming back. Adding a couple new guys, especially Drew (Lavender). We can't wait to get him here. It's going to make things a whole lot easier for everybody.

I told him to stop worrying so much about being a jump-shooter and to be a slasher. Use mid-range and get to the rim. He does a great job of getting to the basket. He does a good job of getting to the rim and finishing with the big guys.

A lot of people would have said that. The thing that's changed is we're playing so much harder. Our intensity and effort is unbelievable right now, because we know how much is on the line. We definitely don't want to go home.
