He's really doing a good job. He's been our ace in the hole this year. We've had a couple kids injured and he's filled in at catcher, third base and pitcher. He's got a great attitude. He's been putting us over the hump lately.

The girls scored in all but three events to finish in third place out of 9 teams. We had a day in which we hoped to see more improvement in times and distances.

It was a big game. We've been wanting to beef up our schedule. We were in a position to win. Give St. Rita credit. They found a way to score some runs, and we didn't.

We just couldn't seem to get over the hump. We seemed to be one clutch hit away all game.

We kept putting ourselves in position to score and couldn't come up with the big hit. Ryan had another great outing. They have a great lineup one through nine.
