For a while, we were causing them problems. It was scoreless the first three or four minutes.
cape extra favors girls giving good kids practice somebody team time
The kids are a little antsy. They want to play somebody real bad. ... The Cape didn't do us any favors giving us a bye the first week. In some ways, having extra practice time is good for a young team ... but the girls now are getting a little punchy.
extra gone improved player shown south team willing
I'd have to say she's not just the most-improved player on our team or even in our area, but I'd be willing to say she's the most improved player in South Jersey. She's always shown that she could be a leader, but she's gone the extra mile.
chances maybe outcome tonight year
We had some chances, and I'd like to think that maybe if we have those same chances a year from now the outcome will be different. Tonight wasn't our night. What are you going to do?
ahead behind teams
We're probably right where I thought we'd be in some areas, ahead in others, behind in some more. That's kind of the way it's always been with my teams here.
foul girls hide took trouble weaknesses
We started getting in foul trouble and it took us away from doing the things we wanted. It was our big girls in trouble, too, so we had to try to hide our weaknesses inside. They took advantage.
flashes good grind slow step
We were a step slow tonight, but we were able to grind it out. We show flashes of being a very good team, but other times we show how young we are.
