ball bit couple defense early function gets good guys late mark nobody stage turned
Nobody has done more at this early stage of their career, has done more than Mark has done. He's able to function. We just need him to function at a little better pace. He's a little late on a couple of throws, but he's making very good decisions. He hasn't turned the ball over in two days. You guys know how our defense gets after the ball. He's making good decisions. We just need him to make them a little bit quicker.
affected competitor might physically trying
I don't know if that affected him physically but it might have affected him mentally. That's the competitor in him, trying to make a play.
changes extremely great knack pleasant speeds surprise
Steve's been an extremely pleasant surprise to me. He's been fantastic. He changes speeds and explodes out of the block. He's just got a great knack for the game.
ahead asked following prepared stepped
He's done everything we've asked of him. If he's back on schedule, and he's ahead of it now, he'll be more prepared than the two quarterbacks he'd be following when they stepped in.
definitely excited faced human pressure shy
Definitely there is pressure. I wouldn't be human if I did not say so, but when you get faced with pressure you can go one of two ways. You can take it on and get excited about it, or you can shy away and hide.
extremely great kids prepare veteran
We've been extremely fortunate. We have great kids who know how to prepare -- a veteran group.
