There is no one more fitting to throw our program's first perfect game. She's been here for four years and she's had a lot of one- and two-hitters. But today, it all came together for her. She was in full command from the start. She's a bulldog. Every time she pitches, you know you have a chance to win.

Leah hurt her back before the game and went two innings. We then went to Sam but we dug ourselves a little hole.

Katie had a tremendous freshman season. She's a very good hitter and has a lot of potential.
early game mistakes picked sharp threw
We weren't as sharp in the early going of game two as we should have been. We made some mistakes in the field. But Aurora threw very well and we picked it up as the game went along.

We kind of caught a break there. But we were able to take advantage of that. We always battle until the final out.
