Tara Ann VanDerveer is an American basketball coach who has been the head women's basketball coach at Stanford University since 1985. Designated the Setsuko Ishiyama Director of Women's Basketball, VanDerveer led the Stanford Cardinal to two NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championships: in 1990 and 1992. We're not a deep team. We are not going to play 10, 11 people. Our starters should be able to play 32 or 33 minutes a game, but they shouldn't have to play 40 all the time.

We have played more games on the road ... we've had that experience already. We're ready to play, and we know we have to play well.

We did not have the intensity we needed. We did not play them well last time and it will help us coming out and being hungrier. I'm excited for UCLA. It's exciting to have new teams (in the final).
