coming consistency gotten injuries last level seven six
I feel we could have gotten this thing going earlier. I thought we had it going if we didn't have those injuries that kind of set us back. Finally, we got a consistency level here in the last six or seven games. Coming out of camp, I thought we were there, but we weren't.
came coming deal easier knew move soon
I knew it was coming tomorrow. But it came earlier. As soon as you know what's happening, it's easier to deal with. Then you can move ahead.
behind coming guys mix older perfect starting
I like the mix that we have. You always try to get the perfect thing. You don't want too many guys too old. If you do have an older player, you want to have a young guy behind him coming up. I thought we were starting to get to that.
came effort few hard missed played time
I thought they played very hard and were executing. We had very few missed tackles, which is very big this time of year. We made some plays, came up with some takeaways. You can see the effort was just tremendous.
great help knows plus
I think he can help a great deal. That's got to be a big plus for us. He knows their personnel, what they like to do, their tendencies.
guys huge losing playing positive team
You look and see the guys are still playing hard. That's a huge positive for a team with a losing record.
change performing
We didn't change anything at all. We're just performing better.
talk
We're not going to talk about that. It's been streamlined already.
glad ill missed played tired
He showed no ill effects. He got a little tired at the end, but I thought Darren played well. I'm glad to have him back. We missed him. He's a playmaker.
athletic finding offensive playing
He's finding out that he's playing some athletic offensive linemen.
ask
He'll do anything you ask him to do.
hold knows last rather reacting tackle
He knows when you have to hold back now. He's reacting a lot more to where the tackle is going and making his move, rather than preplanning like he did last year.
good last order players pressure talent year
There's no pressure when you have a lot of good players like I do now. Pressure was last year when we didn't have enough talent in order to compete.
door maybe
Another door closed. I don't know if there's anything out there. I'll just keep looking, and maybe something will show up.
