bitter fought good
I thought it was a good fight. I thought we fought to the bitter end.
arm experience good league mike substitute
He's always had a good arm and he's decently mobile, but the intangibles are what make a quarterback. There is no substitute for experience and Mike is battle-tested in this league (ACC).
bottom good happy line losing lost players position simply
Nobody's happy about losing or how we lost it. When good players are put in position to make plays, they've got to make them. The bottom line is we simply have to get better.
everybody good helmet pads shoulder
They did some good things. We were able to play about everybody who had a helmet or shoulder pads today, which is a good thing for morale.
extreme good hanging job played
Our quarterbacks played under extreme pressure. I thought they did a good job hanging in there. What they did today, that wasn't easy.
good
It's probably a good thing 'cause he'll need some of that on Saturday.
couple duress good large mike protect threw tough
They were under duress a large part of the time, so it's tough to evaluate. We didn't protect and they didn't have time. I thought Mike threw some good balls, and we had a couple of drops. We have to make those plays.
certainly chances good helped memory remain sitting wins
It certainly helped my chances to remain sitting here in this seat. It's a good memory, just like all the wins are good memories.
deal recruit
I think it's very comparable. I think that's going to be how we get out of this deal -- we recruit our way out of it.
catch particular protect run throw
We do have to get something going offensively, but it's not any one particular deal. We need to protect the quarterback better, we need to run better routes, we need to throw it better and we need to catch it better.
beat football
We got beat by a better football team.
belief great kids played powerful
That was a great day for us. I thought our kids played really well. We had a lot of belief that day and belief is a powerful tool.
allison costs couple deep guy knew plays reports whenever
We knew that Allison was a big-play guy from all the reports that we had read, and we've got to make plays on the deep end. A couple of times we didn't today, and whenever you don't do that, it costs you.
expand
Well expand what were doing a little bit.
