Terrence Edwin Roof, Jr.is an American football coach and former player. Currently, he is the defensive coordinator at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Roof served as the head coach at Duke University from 2003 to 2007, compiling a 6–45 record. When we get opportunities, we've got to take advantage. I've never harped on it as much as we have this preseason camp ... because of what we've done in the past in the scoring zone.

We're committed to playing people because that's going to help us at the end of ballgames and that's going to help us towards the end of the season. Instead of asking a guy the last part of the season who has already played 850 snaps to play 80 more, it makes sense to me that there should be an increase in production when a guy has played 575 to 600 snaps at that point in the year.

We're not deep enough, but we're deeper than we were last year. We've just got to keep addressing depth in recruiting and the development of the players that we have.

You know, when you look at the final scoreboard, you might not see that. If you watched the game and you felt the game, our guys made some strides. I am not happy and I am not satisfied with the loss, but we are going to go back to work and correct the mistakes, accentuate the positives and build off those.
