It's making me have gray hair. I think you just have to be prepared. And all 31 other teams are having to do the same thing. There's a couple different sets of rules that are going to apply come next week, but one set is going to apply and the other set is not, so you have to be ready to go. You have to go under the assumption for the time being, I'm going under the assumption that there's not going to be a collective bargaining agreement. If there is, then we'll adjust accordingly.

After I rejoined the Packers this past January, I believed it was important to take some time to make sure that things were going well with the new organizational structure before any long-term decisions were made to the head coaching position.

If we could find somebody that fits a role, maybe a guy that's a special teams player but also can play receiver, or somebody that's more polished as a receiver who can help us in the game plan, that'd be fine. Or it could be someone who plays a different position.

I wasn't comfortable, first of all, in having to release Mike Sherman. I don't like to do stuff like that. I'm not comfortable. That's not my nature. I don't think it's anybody's nature.

This is a big-boy league. I understand repercussions and the way you judge a general manager.

I have some ideas. Cullen Jenkins is a good player. If he becomes one of our core guys you'd like to make sure you can have him beyond the length of his contract.

I couldn't tell you exactly. I talk to him every week or 10 days, something like that. I haven't talked to him the last couple days.

He's a big part of our team and we're heartbroken that he's not going to be able to play, ... But we want to make sure he gets back healthy and running like he always has.

He still runs around, still plays with passion. I don't see anything diminished there.
early far historical pleased rate reasonably terms
I'm reasonably pleased with all the individuals. There's not many that have been disappointments. I think it's far too early to try to rate it in terms of historical value.
