Ryan pitched well, he's pitched well all year. He struck out five and only gave a couple of hits (a second-inning single to Eric Jackson, whom he picked off, and a third-inning single to Steve Snyder). He doesn't walk guys. He's not overpowering but he throws all his pitches for strikes. If you don't put people on base, you win.

Runs have been surprisingly hard to come by during the early season. I guess we've been coming around slowly, but we really broke out today. I hope we can keep it up at Andrew today in the SouthWest Suburban.
