I thought our pitching and defense carried us in this game. Pedro not only led us at the plate, but made some good defensive plays at third as well.

Pitching and defense was the key today. The pitchers threw strikes and I thought Pedro (Alvarez) and Ryan (Flaherty) made some nice plays at the corner infield spots.

We were more patient at the plate today but offensively we are still not where we want to be yet. We were better yesterday, but today we had some chances to blow some innings open and we didn't get it done.
