We didn't have the edge we needed tonight. They shot 50 percent from the floor. We need to shore up our defense right now going into the final few games of the season.
Bruce is always awesome, it doesn't matter who (he's defending), Kobe or anybody else in the league, ... He's going to make them work for every point that they get. ... He was in (Bryant's) face every shot he took.
Beno has been playing great for us. With Nick out right now, Beno is getting a lot of minutes and he has really responded well.
Everything's not clicking yet, but we're heading that way. It was a great learning experience today being able to fight back and staying with each other.
We all didn't have that edge we needed. Offensively, they did kind of whatever they wanted to do. We can't win games like that.
Tonight was a good game for us because we were able to grind it out and find a way to get a win down the stretch. I was able to get some shots to go, and when they doubled me, I was able to find my teammates.
We had a great season, a franchise record. It's all gone now.
Tony was great tonight and as solid as he has been all season. The Hornets shot the ball better than we would have liked them to tonight, but overall this was a good win.
We put ourselves in a great position, but we gave up two in a row at home. We still have the lead in the West, and in the division and we're going to try and hold onto that.
We did a pretty solid job on defense. We got in the passing lanes, got some steals.
When our guys are getting shots like that, we love 'em. ... But every once in a while, I tell them I'm still there.
Now we've got the pressure on them, down two games. Now we've got to go into Arco and really get this first one. That puts the ultimate pressure -- elimination -- on people.
Nobody said this would be easy. Everybody said the opposite.
I wish I could be involved in the high-flying off the glass stuff, but that's just not what I do, ... So I go out there, I play. I take my open shots and I try to move the ball around.
