We're setting up for the Tournament of Champions -- that's district play. We had to get the kinks out so we can be ready and prepare for the district season.

What makes him a vet is he's been playing since he was a freshman, ... He has experience under his belt. He's been in this conference for two years, and he knows who the opponent's threat is and what they are going to do. It's good to have him back there. He's real helpful. He guides us in all directions ? picks us up when we are down and gives us praise whenever we're doing good.

We're a much better passing team than in years past. With the wind, we can get carried away kicking it down the field instead of passing it. Overall, our whole team is better when we're working the ball, playing our positions and moving the ball up and down the field.
