Timothy Henry "Tim" Henman OBEis a retired English professional tennis player. Henman played a serve-and-volley style of tennis. He was the first male player from the United Kingdom since Roger Taylor in the 1970s to reach the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Men's Singles Championship. There's no doubt it's been a difficult 15 or 16 months and that's been probably dominated more by back problems than my results on the court.

It's not easy coming back from a long lay-off but it was great to be back playing. It was my first time back here since I won in 2003. I had great preparation and I've been hitting the ball well in practice, but at the level we are playing at results are the bottom line.

As my record states, he's the most difficult for me to play if I'm attacking and coming forward all the time because he's so good at returning and then picking off the passing shots. It's been a difficult summer for me. I haven't had any results at all. Actually, in terms of the purpose that I've had, it's been much, much better. That's why when I keep doing the right things, I've got no doubts my results will get better.
