five hitting pitchers plays stomach
He's probably one of the better hitting pitchers out there. But he's still a pitcher. He plays only once every five days. It would have been better if it was a cleanup hitter. Then I'd be able to stomach it a little better.

It was just one of those days where I didn't make many pitches. When I did, they seemed to hit them.

It's tough enough to come up with one big hit. For a guy -- especially a young guy -- to come up with big hits in back-to-back innings, you hardly ever see that. I'm glad I got to see it on our side.

It's something fun to laugh about. Hopefully, I'm not that hard to handle. But I guess it's a good thing. If it's hard for them to catch it, it's probably hard for them to hit it. So I'll take it.
adjustment feeling few fourth took
The first few innings, I just overthrew it. I made an adjustment about the fourth and started feeling pretty good. But I took too long to make the adjustment.
bend bending games picked sure win
They really picked me up. It was one of those games -- bend but don't break. I sure don't like bending that much though. But it was a big win for us.
nine stuff time win
If I have that same stuff nine times out of 10, I'm probably going to win nine of those games. This was just the one time where they got me.
attack chalk challenge great positive strike zone
AT&T Park, chalk it up. This is a great pitcher's park, great weather. It's a great place to pitch. It's all positive and no negative. You can go out and challenge guys. I've got the confidence to attack the strike zone and not nibble so much.
dealing good last stuff supposed worried
I was dealing with a lot of stuff last year. The contract, a new team, new teammates, a new organization, a new baby. This year, I feel more like I'm supposed to. I'm not worried about making a good first impression. I just want to come in and be myself.
