control fault figure game goal next past solution sure time useless whose winning
It would be useless to try to come up with an explanation or a solution to the past two games. We have to figure out what we are going to do for the next game and how we are going to come out and play. We can't look around and say whose fault it is on this goal or on that goal. It's time to just make sure we go out and take control of our own destiny, and that's by winning two games.
certain change mount pressure seems
Things change in the playoffs. Pressure seems to mount on certain players. Some play good, some don't.
atmosphere bigger build crowds gone gotten trying type year
That's the type of atmosphere we're trying to build here. As the year has gone on, the crowds have gotten bigger and bigger.
brothers telling
They've been telling me about this, my brothers have. Boy. That's amazing.
agent freshmen kids negotiate time
I tell these kids as freshmen (that) by the time they get out of here, they're going to need an agent to negotiate their contracts.
carry club gone good happen hockey huge looking past realize situation step team
I think with the situation with David, and he's a huge part of this team, with the way that it's gone on I think we all take it personally. We all need to step up. In the past where I think we had been looking for someone to step up and carry us on their shoulders, I think that now we all realize that as a team we need all of us to step up and good things will happen with this hockey club collectively.
atlanta control games left matter point season stand three time toronto win
Right now is no time to get down; there is no time to point fingers, it's a time with three games left in the season to win two games. We are in control of our own destiny. It doesn't matter what Atlanta does, it doesn't matter where Toronto is, it's all about us. It's two out of three games. This is a time to stand up and take control of the situation.
ages battle character losing union
That was one for the ages right there. There was a winner, but there was really no losing team. It was a battle of guts, will and character ? for Union just as much as for us.
loss sum
If I can sum it up in words, this is the most disappointing loss of the season.
face fans forget forum front given open people personally rings slap taken team treatment trying walk
I don't think we'll ever forget the treatment the NHL has given our team in trying not to let this happen. It was a joke. I think it's a slap in the face the NHL has given our fans because they should've been involved. This should have been at the Forum in front of 22,000 people as we walk up and get the rings and open it up and show the fans. I personally feel the NHL has taken some of that away from us.
discipline hard intensity takes work
It's all about intensity and discipline. If you don't want to work hard and do the little things it takes to be successful, you won't play. We're still working on that, but we've come a long way.
cost fourth huge missed possibly sick team totally
That fourth goal, it's totally my fault. That's a play I have to make 10 out of 10 times, and I missed the puck. I cost our team a huge point, and possibly two. I feel sick and that's inexcusable.
cap definitely entire feather happy nice score sheet sign yale
It's nice to sign a score sheet with nothing but Yale goals. I'm really happy for Alec. This is definitely a feather in his cap, and a feather in the cap for the entire defense.
hockey points start win
This was the start of our playoffs. We need to win hockey games. We need to put points on the board.
