couple entire feels gone good moves playing pounds season
He's playing strong; he's in very good shape, ... We'll see, you never know. As the season moves on, he may want to put a couple of pounds on. But right now, he's gone the entire preseason this way. He feels good at that weight, so good.
cares error football good guy player point possibly trying
I just see a guy that's a football player, that has outstanding ability, who's trying to be as good a player as he possibly can, ... We're trying to get him to a point where he understands what we want. You want that kind of person, someone who cares so much, when they do make an error they feel accountable to the whole team.
continuing correction couple good plays responsibility scope
He had a couple plays I thought were good and a couple there would be a little correction on, ... He's continuing to widen the scope of responsibility and I like what he's doing.
anxious excited feels good himself position
He's excited and we are, too; anxious to get going, really, ... I think he has put himself in a position where he feels real good about where he's at.
although feels good gradually playing schedule
He's progressing well. He feels good about it. The soreness is gradually dissipating. I would say he's on schedule for the opener, although we're going to be cautious. I don't see him playing this week.
criticism extremely good handled motivated
He's pretty much even-keeled in his approach. When his play was lavished with praise, I think he handled that well, and he handles the criticism well. I think he's extremely motivated to be as good as he can be.
game good looking played start tim tried whether
For a long way into the game Tim played well, he did a lot of good things. Whether he tried to press, whether he tried to do more than he should have ... . I'm not disappointed in the way Tim played, but I was looking for a continuation of the kind of start he made.
discomfort distance felt few good greater passes threw yesterday
He threw for greater distance and felt good about that. He also threw a few more passes than yesterday and didn't have any discomfort at all, which is a good sign.
athletics breaking care coming competitor continue excited good great keeps perspective played position records remarkable takes tremendous verge work
First and foremost, he's an outstanding athlete. He has to be or else he wouldn't be in this position. He takes great care of himself. He's a competitor by nature. He has a great sense of humor, which I think keeps everything in perspective for him, good or bad. But, to play as long as he has played and to be on the verge of breaking these records is a tremendous accomplishment. For someone to be in a position that he's in and having done this for so many years and continue to be excited about coming to work every day and the opportunities he has is really a remarkable thing.
bruise inside next
He has a sprain and bruise to the inside of his elbow, ... We'll see how he progresses next week.
doubtful status week
His status is going to be week to week, and I think his availability for this week would be doubtful at best.
above ball catch defender finding hands knack puts spending
If you're spending one defender on the guy, he has a knack for finding a way to get the ball, ... He's a big target. He can catch the ball with his hands above his head, which puts him well above most cornerbacks and most safeties.
job trying
He's back to gritting his teeth. He's got a job to do and he's trying to do it.
brought conference course despite great press return snaps special teams
I thought Brandon made a great effort, ... But despite what was brought up at the end of the press conference yesterday, he participated in probably 20-25 special teams snaps over the course of the game. So he was involved, and he had been hit. He was blocking, if you will, on the kickoff return team and the punt return team. So he had opportunities to compete.
