There seemed to be an effort in the early '90s to kind of do away with it. You were seeing guys get in trouble or talked to if they were seen smoking on TV.
aware choose options
I've always been aware of what I eat. There are a lot of options and you have to choose carefully.

A lot of times, the guy that's out there pitching, you probably played with him somewhere already, ... Nowadays, it seems like everybody knows everybody.

That's how we won them when I was there. It looks like it still works.

Both of us threw well. He threw a little bit better. It's one of those games that's tough to lose.

deals directions echo followed game hope last major map pleased road team together wagner
I echo those comments. No question, Wagner has made us a much better team than we were last year. There's no guarantee, we still have to play, but we have to be pleased with what we have. We made two major deals and did as much as I think we could have done. It's awesome. I'm excited. They put together a game plan, a road map to success, and we followed the map very well. Now I just hope the directions are up-to-date.
game
They had a lot to do with me re-evaluating my game plan. In that sense, I'm thankful.
areas certainly evaluate expected looking stronger talent team teams
If you evaluate our team, we've certainly assembled the talent to win. Looking at some of the teams I was on in Atlanta, I can't say those teams had more talent than this team overall. Some areas are stronger than others. But the thing we always had over there was that we just expected to win.
baseball help helping humbling playing position simply
I like to be in a position of helping people. I find it very humbling that, simply by playing baseball, I'm in position to help so many people. I never take that for granted.
