biggest figure good great kept losing mind problem schedules team tough within
Our biggest problem was there was no spacing between those tough games. We kept losing and having to play another great team right away. I still think good schedules make you better in the long run. I don't mind losing because that's how you figure out what's wrong, but you have to do it within reason.
problem
I don't see that being a problem right now.
address mentally physically problem proves theory tough tried
I think it proves my theory that you just have to be physically and mentally tough as nails. That's been a problem for us. We've tried to address it, and we're going to address it from here on out.
confidence internet keys lose maybe nowadays problem radio sudden survive talk three
I think that will be one of the keys to the season, will we survive if we lose two games, three games, maybe even five? ... The problem nowadays with the Internet and talk radio -- all of a sudden everyone's getting down on you, and your confidence can go down.
bizarre good hung hurt played sort wisconsin
That was a bizarre game. I thought Wisconsin played very well in the first half, and we just sort of hung in the game. I thought it hurt them when Tucker went out, and I thought we did some good things, too.
forced tried
He probably tried to do too much because he was forced into that position.
iowa played second
I thought Iowa played very solid. In the second half, they played much better defensively.
finally practice
It's kind of nice. They don't like to practice?I do. So they finally get their way.
fatigue zero
Fatigue had zero to do with the loss.
encouraged facts opinion
I have encouraged him to (speak out). My opinion is he has some facts to get straightened out. I don't know if he will or not.
becoming control game growing means player speaks special thrives took volumes
He kind of thrives on pressure, he kind of thrives on big moments. He took control of the game, under control. And that speaks volumes of a player when he can take control of game and do it under control. I think that means the guy's really growing up and becoming a special player.
espn late talk
On ESPN in late February, that's all they talk about.
nba turned
I turned down going to the NBA so I wouldn't have back-to-backs.
brutal juniors playing seniors tough
It is a brutal schedule, and if you've been through everybody's, as I've done, it's not even close. But so be it. If there's one thing these seniors and juniors are used to, it's playing tough schedules.
