Our kids started out 1-11, now we're 5-11. They're starting to grow up and feel good about themselves, and they're looking forward to the second half of the season.

It was the best baseball game we've been in all year. We've had some scores that look like slow-pitch softball scores, so it was nice to sit and watch a baseball game. Win or lose, to be in a 3-1 game was good for the kids.

We're really pleased. It's amazing how much the winter storm patterns have changed from this time last year. Now, let's just hope for the best for the rest of the season.

We weren't ready to play. We let the three good Niles players do what they wanted. They blew us out in the first half, but we played better in the third quarter. Remember, Niles is very good.
