forgot honest
I kind of forgot about him. He was at the other end of the bench. That's the real honest answer.
informed leaving sure
I'm leaving that open. I want to make sure I make an informed decision.
intentions leaning toward
I'm leaning toward Henrik, but we'll see. Those are my intentions at this time.
career game great guess icon illuminate rookie sort stage takes talking themselves unfold watch
I guess they all do at this stage of their career, those that sort of have been able to illuminate themselves for a great rookie season. But we're talking about an icon in the game at that position. Let's just watch his career unfold and see where it takes him.
ability advantage anybody beat feeling gained hockey strongly
If there is an advantage to be gained by this, it's that we think we can beat this team. We feel like we can come in here and win, that's an important feeling to have as a hockey club. You've got to be really feeling strongly about yourself and your ability to beat anybody any night.
certainly choose individual judgment perform recognized season suggested
I suggested it's judgment day for a lot of reasons. I did not allude to anyone's individual status. But this season certainly could be recognized by how we choose to perform on Saturday.
emotional sit thinking
I'm thinking I'd better not make an emotional comment. I'll just sit down and think it through and do what's appropriate.
basically correct hard period quite school sure third
I'm not sure that we competed hard enough for the first 40 minutes, and the third period was just basically a penalty-kill period. There's not a lot to like about the game, quite honestly. But we'll go to school and correct ourselves.
caught sure
I'm not sure we got caught tired. I think we just got caught flat-footed.
hard needed penalty period sure third
I'm not sure we competed as hard as we needed to for the first 40 minutes. Then the third period was all a penalty kill. There's not a lot to like about the game, honestly.
history magical sort sure wait watching
I'm not sure they wait for him to do magical things but they are sort of watching history here, too.
break confident good losing playoffs streak
I'm confident they'll play better. Just like I was confident we'd break a six-game losing streak and I'm confident we'll make the playoffs and I'm confident we'll do good things once we get there.
choose dandy fall fine game grab guys hard head honorable invite jump opponent penalty requires rules seen skate somebody straight time trying turn within
If somebody is trying to play you straight up and play the game within the rules and that's physical, I have a hard time with those that choose to turn and invite the hit, which they do, then fall down and grab their head. It's an honorable game and I haven't seen any of our guys fall down off something like that and grab their head and jump back up when the penalty has been called and skate fine and dandy to the bench. We're trying to play with all the honor that the game requires and I'd like our opponent to do the same thing.
analyze balancing careful good guys nature ourselves score
In the nature of the game, things have a way of balancing out. We've got some pretty good shooters, we've got guys who can score in the shootouts. That's just the way it goes. I think we have to be real careful we don't analyze ourselves to a standstill.
