I think statements are made in the playoffs and we're far away from that. We still want to improve and get ready for the playoffs. We didn't win anything the last two nights. Our work is far from over.

It's tough to establish yourself. You just can't relax for a second. ... We've been playing well. Sometimes you get good breaks at home, but to win on a consistent basis, you have to be doing the right things, not just getting lucky.

You've got to protect the middle of the ice. The guys on the boards are not a concern. It's hard to win when you're making mistakes like that.

It could have been a lot worse. If they didn't detect it, the blood clot could have got loose, and then I would have been in big trouble.

I think that's probably the biggest difference for us is that right now we're very talented and that can make a real difference in scoring. As the franchise has grown and developed, you can see the results of our drafts and the moves we've made.

For European goalies coming over here the toughest thing is learning how to play the puck and deal with the traffic. You often have to fight through the traffic to see the puck. Those things you have to learn. Every European is usually good on breakaways and back door plays because we are so used to it. There are not as many shots back in Europe but (there are) a lot of back door dishes and plays around the net.

It's comfortable to know you did it, but the work doesn't stop, ... We have the whole season in front of us. Now I'll worry about the next game.

They said it's perfectly curable and I should be fine in six months. It's tough timing for the playoffs for me. But that's something you don't worry about when you think about your health.

It seems like I get asked about it twice a day from Czech journalists and from here, really asking me what I don't have answers for. It gets old after a while. I think it would be better for everybody if we knew, but I'm not in charge, so I just go with the flow.
difference good maybe plays power shots stuff
Maybe there are going to be more shots because of power plays and stuff like that, ... It's a good thing. The more shots you get, the more difference you can make.
