couple days game hoping next prior
We need to get back to our order. I'm hoping we can do that the next couple days prior to our game on Wednesday.
pleased worked
We didn't panic. I was pleased with how we methodically worked our way back.
ball critical late trying
We had some critical turnovers late in the game, and some of those were when we were trying to get the ball to Courtney.
inside tough
Boy, is he a tough player. He was relentless, he scored inside out.
basketball daniel difference efficient good kid moments nice played player players senior state
Boy, he was just an efficient basketball player as a senior. And when you think back on some of the really good senior players who have played in Madison, you think of those moments where a kid like Wilkinson is really in a nice state of mind. That's the difference in Daniel Horton.
both decent difference foul game knocked line offensive struggled teams
Both teams struggled offensively. It wasn't a pretty game from an offensive standpoint. The difference was they were able to get to the foul line and they knocked in a decent percentage.
both difference struggled teams
Both teams struggled offensively but the difference was that they were able to get to the free-throw line. They (Buckeyes) were the aggressors.
class dig emotional enjoy guys senior tough wearing
We had to dig out of an emotional hole. We've got a tough senior class and you can see that these guys still enjoy wearing that uniform.
battle fought scrappy until
We had to battle our way through with Miami. They were a tough, scrappy bunch, and they fought until the end.
care expect horrendous job taking
We really did a horrendous job taking care of the basketball. You can't have that many turnovers and expect to win.
care chance horrendous job pull taking
We really did a horrendous job of taking care of the basketball. We had way too many for us to have a chance to pull this out.
analyzing basketball care corrected describing difference foul horrendous job sloppy taking turning win
We really did a horrendous job of taking care of the basketball. I thought the difference was us not getting to the foul line, and turning the basketball over. We were very sloppy with the basketball. There's no excuse. There's no other way of describing it or analyzing it. It's something that has to be corrected for us to win on the road.
best cautious kids maybe seen takes
Maybe I've been cautious with him, but it's in all of our best interests. I don't know what is realistic, but one thing we've seen is that these kids are not the same when they first come back from an injury. I think it takes a while.
career certainly ending game gave great home kids none obviously reasons telling undoing
Obviously it was a disappointing ending and loss. You can certainly look at a lot of different stats and reasons but none more telling than 24 turnovers. That was our undoing and it was unfortunate for us. I thought our kids gave great effort, especially our seniors, and I'm very disappointed for them to end their career home game with something like this.
