I was happy with the way the district fell. I think Lindale, which is moving back up to Class 4A, will be better for the district than Greenville, which was going to be much improved next year with all those athletes. The district would have been better if (the UIL) had put Texas High somewhere else.

I pretty much had the schedule set, so as soon as I found out the district, I just re-confirmed what we already had. Sometimes it's not as easy as it was this time. I've had years in which it took me two or three days to set the schedule.

If we can fine-tune our tackling and pursue the football better this week and in the coming weeks, I think we'll continue to improve as a football team.
