Anthony "Tony" La Russa, Jr.is an American professional baseball player, manager, and executive currently serving as Chief Baseball Officer for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He is best known for his tenures as manager of the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, and St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball. His MLB career has spanned from 1963 to the present. It's that time in spring where you split up the day so that you get a look at everybody, get their spring training started.
The fans are going to like it because there's enough there when you look at it, it reminds you of the old park and lots that's new. It's really a nice mix.
That's why he's here. There's potential there. We got a veteran, so he knows himself better than anybody, especially us.
He's pitched really well in a couple of those games. He's had a heck of a year.
He made a couple of mistakes, but I thought he was solid.
Every year he's played better and better. Last year, we reached that 100 win total. We're not winning 100 games without So being a really clutch player.
