Our philosophy has always been to leave a community better for us having been there.

Just seeing how some of those people lived and how little they had and how happy they are. It put in perspective what's important in life.

She got a picture of the bigger world, so school assignments seemed a little mundane.
ask country gracious people sit warm
The people in the country were unbelievably warm and welcoming. They were gracious and kind. If they only had one chair, they'd ask you to sit there.
