He kept telling us all game, 'Give me a little time. We'll get there.' He did that. That's Willie. He's the engine that won't stop.
He does the same thing every week. Wasn't nothing he was doing different. We had our hands on the ball. We dropped it, too. It's all our faults.
I'm running every route like I'm expecting the football, ... I think I've earned his respect by doing that.
I'm not saying it was a piece of cake, ... but you're willing to step up and do it.
With some teams, even if you get it in range you're sweating bullets.
When it comes down to it, I always played hard for my teammates and I played hard for my coaches no matter who it was, ownership.
As far as natural ability, I was always athletic.
I'm not one who's big on accolades and all those things. I did my job and I'm proud of what I did and how I did it.
I could jump, I was quick, I could catch and all those types of things, but when it came to just flat out speed, that's something I had to work really hard at.
