I feel like I have grown in front of everybody. From a knucklehead young guy to hopefully an up-and-coming wise senior who can lead this group of guys.
I don't think we're that far away. But then again, I don't think that we're close.
Teachers make a difference. That's all I really know. I come from a family of teachers. And I wanted to touch someone's life.
First of all, I want to let you know that sitting out of last year's bowl, I didn't think about that as much as you probably think I did. To me, this year's seniors, this group of guys on the field, that's what it was about. I don't like taking a lot of credit for what goes on on the field because it takes 11 guys.
The national championship is here next year. We like that.
Our seniors can still finish 4-0 in bowl games if we win the Fiesta. That's huge incentive for us.
The scheme was to make big plays. The guys stepped up, the offensive line did a great job and I was fortunate to be able to connect on a couple deep passes.
Taxes. They don't hit us over the head with taxes yet. When you leave college, you get a family and you have other people to worry about. I'm not saying I'm not looking forward to that, but as long as I can, I'm going to stay in this comfort zone.
A game like this helps everybody. It was a sigh of relief. Today was a great confidence boost.
From my standpoint I'm going to try the hardest that I can to get the ball to the receivers in a position where they can get the ball and make a play.
I think we did pretty good. I think we did some good things, and we did some bad things. The turnovers - we don't need them, and we never want to have them.
Congratulations, first and foremost. And just be ready when you come up this way.
It's great that finally a single restaurant gets noticed in the D/FW area.
We understand each other the whole way around. (He's) like my baby brother in the sense of how we've grown up together.
