He didn't have a bad game. He understands the game very well and is very competitive. That's what makes him good. And he can hit free throws. It didn't take him long at all (to adjust). We put him in the first game of the season and he was competing with everybody, and was as good as all the seniors.

I was satisfied with my performance today. I've switched to a heavier pole, which I really like. All I need to do is run faster and jump higher.

Stanford will be one of the biggest matches of the year. The first time around, we had injuries and illnesses, and even through all that, we played pretty well.

We knew we had a tough road ahead of us, but we've been through a lot together through the years. Winning four NIC titles was great because it hasn't been done very often. However, winning the sectional is just as satisfying since it's something we haven't done for awhile.
