achieve asked constantly family impossible maybe normal start
To relax, maybe start a family and live a normal life. This would be impossible to achieve in Italy, where I am asked constantly for my autograph.
great magic race stayed track
This track is magic, it was a great race. I wasn't able to escape. Nicky had a great race and stayed right with me.
beginning casey expect good honest job season strong
To be honest I didn't expect Casey to be so strong at the beginning of the season and he is doing a very good job on the Honda.
grip improve lost order
We made some modifications in order to improve the acceleration and unfortunately we lost a lot of grip in braking.
bike changes corners fast few full good lap looking lots means potential problems quite riders speed team today tried vibration within work yesterday
We still have quite a few problems with the vibration and this means that we can't use the bike to its full potential and make fast lap times. We've tried lots of changes to the set-up today - balance, suspension, but the problem remains. In some of the fast corners my speed is down by as much as 15 or 20kms. The good thing is that we're much better than yesterday and we've done some really good work within the team to make these improvements, but it's still not enough and some other riders are looking very strong.
names voice giving
I try to have a different relationship with the bike. I don't give it a name, but I always speak with it. I don't know if the other riders do the same. This is not only a piece of metal - there is a soul. The bike talks back too. But not with a voice, with the components
speed exciting dangerous
The speed is something dangerous but very exciting.
silly thinking good-relationship
The most important thing is to have a good relationship with the bike... you have to understand what she wants. I think of a motorcycle as a woman, and I know that sounds silly, but it's true.
passion important racers
To be a great motorbike racer, the most important thing is passion for the bike.
home humility hard-work
I think the secret is to understand that you still want to be part of the game. To do so, you have to forget all the victories you've managed to get in the previous years and have a great humility. You also need to realise that, if you want to go on, you have to work hard. If you dwell too much on your past successes and say "well, I have won nine world titles and more than 100 races", you'd rather stay home.
icons want valentino
I'm Valentino Rossi. And I want to be a person, not an icon.
