fight ice love tired
I love it. There's no clutching and grabbing, you have more ice and you don't get as tired having to fight through.
saves second
He also made some really big saves in the second period. He was very solid.
behind hit trying
It started with Philly, trying to hit their 'D' and play behind their 'D,' ... It's been working and I am going to keep working at it.
played win
It's kind of the same thing when we played Calgary. It's a win at a time. We're pretty confident.
boost confidence good net
It's good to boost your confidence a little bit. The net was getting really small. But the most important thing, we got that win.
build exciting fan good knew month people watch
It was pretty exciting. The month of August, every day there was something new. We knew it was going to be like that because there were 300-something people not signed. ... It makes it exciting for the people. And the more exciting it is, the more they'll come to the game, the more they'll watch it on TV. That's how you build a fan base. I thought it was good for the game.
chance coming four lost people respect team turned winning year
The first four years I was there, we lost a lot and people weren't coming out to see us and people did not respect our team. Now we have turned it around. Now we are a competitive team and we are winning every year and we have a chance to keep it going.
awful playing work
An awful call, ... Offensively, I go with my instincts. If I think the play is to make a play, that's what I do. It didn't work out. I'm just going to keep playing hard. If I get benched for it, that's fine.
came good great guys played tonight
You've got some guys that play very physical. That's the way they play. They're a very, very good team. Tonight we played a great game, so we came out on top.
dvd final game gets minute puck remind seems start watch yelling
It still seems unbelievable to me. I'll watch the DVD of Game 7 and it gets in the final minute and I start yelling at the screen: 'What are you doing? Get the puck out!' And then I have to remind myself, 'Wait, it's OK, we win.'
both game good great hard hockey played teams
We really played 60 minutes, and we played hard for 60. They played a great game. They had some great chances, great opportunities. It was a good hockey game for both sides. Both teams were working really hard.
believe games goals good players step sudden
We have a lot of good players on the team, and we do have to step it up. I think we can. We believe in each other. We're confident. We know that just because we had two games with no goals (it's not) that all of a sudden we can't score.
behind good guess luck saw shot somebody tripped
I saw somebody behind me, so I just shot right away. I didn't even know. I guess he kind of tripped a little bit, so it was good luck for me.
