afraid drop everybody game hit overthrow
I told him that if I get in the game, he's going to come out of the tunnel, I'm going to overthrow everybody and hit him in the end zone. He said he was afraid he was going to drop it, though.
happened situations
It's inexcusable. It's unfortunate, but when those situations come up we have to go on as if nothing ever happened with Kevin.
ask fans field gone season team though
They can't take this away. Even though the season hasn't gone the way the team would want it to go, it's been more than I can ask for. The way the fans reacted to me going on the field this year, it's something I'll always remember.
believe brooks fantastic job team
I thought Brooks did a fantastic job. He showed he can play and he got the team to believe in him.
chance good win
If you look at our division, it's up for grabs. Right now, even with us at 2-5, we still have a good chance to win it.
teaching trying understand
It's not about teaching me how to play quarterback. It's about making us understand what we're trying to get done that week.
sports looks rust
First you have to spread on the rust performer, then you add a coat of protective enamel, and then you spray on the satin finish so you look good.
past years wish
When I came back, I wasn't looking past this year. This is a bonus for me. I just wish it would have turned out a little better, but we all don't get what we want all the time.
expectations feelings nervous
I'm excited, happy, nervous, anxious, all those feelings about playing for the Jets again. If I didn't have high expectations, I wouldn't come back here.
lines communicate bottom
When you're on the road, you have to be louder and you have to communicate. That's really the bottom line.
team reality perception
Nobody is expecting us to do anything. We can't let that perception become our reality, because with the ability on this team, if everybody can pick it up a notch, we'll be fine. It's not going to be Brooks coming in saving the day, or myself. It's got to be everybody as a unit playing consistent. If it happens, it's going to be great. It will be something like I've never experienced.
wrestling winning ugly
Sometimes you have to win ugly.
