core good group hearing history kids state talent team tired title together
This group of kids has been together for some years and they are a good core group. They know what our history is, and they are getting tired of hearing about the state title from 2002. We keep them hungry. And I think this team has more talent than the team in 2002.

The young crop is a lot more talented than any group in years' past. I'm pretty proud of the accomplishments that we made in the winter. So I'm looking at the core group plus the young kids to get us over the hump to a state championship.

This was really a good start for us. The goal was to come out and have a positive start to the season. There was a lot of pressure on the kids because we are so senior laden. I think they handled it well.

We'll be a real contender for sure. Beyond that, a lot will depend on how the new guys come along and whether some of the veterans like Nick Cuff and Travis Douglas return from injury.
