backyard beating champion cheering crowd fight good mind people prove ring true
You put the crowd to the back of your mind and just concentrate on beating him. Going into the ring the crowd spurred me on. Cheering for him got me going. If you want to be a true champion you've got to fight people in their own backyard to prove how good you are.
kids played state stepped three
We stepped up. We had two or three kids that really stepped up and played pretty well, and I think we'll do well at the state tournament.
