We're more organized this year. Last year we didn't know who was the head coach until the last minute. This year we've had more time to prepare. I hope all the runners have a lot more fundamentals and more training. I hope they're more efficient runners this year.

We recognize right up front that there are many accomplished teachers who may never have gone through or considered going through the national board program. What we want to avoid is creating one elite group of teachers running the show.

We're a totally different team than we were when we played them first. We're just a lot smarter.

We're battle-tested and have been through all kinds of experiences. We experienced the high of a very good start, then like most teams around the country, we hit a spot where we weren't playing as well. We've battled through that, and it's been a little up and down at the end.

We're beginning to see people move out of Singer. Some of the people are starting to get placed in longer-term housing in the community, which is really our focus now.
