We had 10 guys go Division I from our team and Quick is on the team here. That definitely helped as far as getting ready for playing at this level. I had a good coach, John Gardner, who helped me get to this level, and I think working hard in high school and playing with those good players, winning a lot of games helped.

I just stopped liking basketball. And then you dribbling down the court and having the owner like cuss at you and call you an idiot. I didnt even look forward to coming to the games, and if the owner [Donald Sterling] came to the game, I definitely was not gonna have a good game because it was just like, how do you play when the main heckler in the gym is the owner of the team, and hes telling you how much he hates you and calling out your name?

We are a team that likes to use selective hearing. Day after day we have to go out there and compete. What the critics say: thanks for the pub. But it is for the birds.

We've been in a lot of close games during the tail end of the season that came down to last-second shots, free throws, things like that. I definitely think pressure situations aren't anything new to us. I think we're learning how to handle that better as a team and hopefully that will help us.

I've been shooting the ball and running a little bit. It's just going out here now and forgetting that I've been out and try to get back in and make sure I know what's going on out there on the floor and that we're just not lost as a team.

There are times when we have to do certain things to help him defensively but the flip side of that is he's done so much for our team that we need him on the floor, ... We live with the defensive deficiencies that may come about because of his lack of size. He more than makes up for that with a big, big heart and being a competitor the way he is.

We have to go out, and whatever happens on one play, whether good or bad, we have to go to the next play. We gained valuable experience since the game we played them. We've executed better, so I just can't wait to see us putting it out there.

We have to go out and hit the ball first of all. We haven't been hitting the ball the last three games. Offensively we need our bats to come through, and defensively we've been making mistakes which we need to eliminate.
