bounce far hard worked
It's disappointing because he's worked hard to get back where he is, as far as getting back into the league. It's something that's a setback, but he's young enough to where he can bounce back.
easy execute far five focused game pitchers pitches stay tired wrapped
That's very important. I like my pitchers to stay focused and execute pitches and not get wrapped up in the score, but that's not very easy to do. Jae got a little tired at the end. We had some long innings, but he did keep us in the game as far as getting throught the first five pretty easily.
aggressive both crowd far happens hear large
They wanted to make the play. They're both very aggressive and went after it. That happens sometimes when you have two aggressive outfielders. Large crowd and a lot of noise, sometimes you don't hear each other, as far as communication. But it's just the way we play, man, very aggressive, and it's unfortunate to have to collide like that.
muscle pull
Pull a muscle in the on-deck circle, how do you do that?
talked wants
He wants to be the best. We've talked a lot about his approach.
spit sure taste
I just told them to make sure they don't like the taste they have in their mouth, that they spit it out right away,
comforting glad wants
It's very comforting to have him. He wants to be the best, and we're glad to have him.
concerned second worried
It's only his second start. I'm not concerned or worried about it.
overthrow sure tendency tonight
He has the tendency to overthrow the ball. I'm sure tonight it was no different.
david
It's a little different than David Wright .
boils learning matter pains winning
It's just a matter of going through the pains of learning how to play winning baseball, ... That's really what it boils down to.
braves game id lose somebody year
If somebody told me wed lose every game to the Braves this year and be in the World Series, Id take that.
bleak change clubhouse matter positive stay
No matter how bleak things look, in this clubhouse we're going to stay positive and keep playing. Things can change around.
attacks ball effortless hit looked quick raw skill type
He's got quick hands. He attacks the ball aggressively. And you have to like his speed. He's just a very effortless type of runner. When he hit that triple, it looked like he was coasting. Just real smooth. It's that young talent, that raw kind of young skill you like to see.
