He didn't want to overwhelm me with a bunch of stuff, ... But I picked his brain and said, 'I don't care if you overwhelm me. I've got a lot of stuff to work on and the last month and all off-season to work on it and want to get right.'

I can feel when I'm doing it right and it feels great, ... It's a matter of repeating it over and over again. It gave me a glimpse of what's there, and that's something for me to get excited about.

I always wanted to get up here, contribute and throw strikes. I feel mechanically, I'm getting to where I want to be. I wouldn't say I'm all the way there yet, but I've made a lot of progress.

I want to make the team, there's no doubt about it. It was important for me to go out and show them that I can do it, that it is there, and that I'm working toward getting to where I was.

Everybody looks for an organization that has confidence in you, and it's been nice to be able to come here, ... It's nice they gave me the chance to work with 'Mac' down here. I feel like I'm getting close.
