I don't remember an opener like this. Disappointing is about as nice a term as you can (use). Completely embarrassed is probably what I'd say.
chase definitely hopefully ran trying twice
That's just football. I ran twice trying to chase down two touchdowns, so it happens. Hopefully that will be my last, but it definitely wasn't my first.
