I love hosting. I've always really enjoyed making people happy, and so anytime I'm doing anything or the event is doing anything, and I look around and there are smiles on everybody's faces, I feel like I've succeeded in doing something. That's the stuff that I'm most grateful for.

A lot of people, especially Christians, want to put you in this box of being a Christian actor, and I don't believe in it. You do yourself and everyone else a big disservice when you start thinking about it as 'Christian art.' That's why most Christian art is bad. They don't put a premium on the 'art.

I just remember that when Jennifer Love Hewitt released an album a few years back, it was like 'Oh, why is Jennifer Love Hewitt releasing an album?' But if Queen Latifah, or Justin Timberlake, or anybody else wants to be an actor, it's like 'Yeah, I'll go check that out.'
