It's really just precautionary. He was examined by a doctor today and rest was prescribed.
baseball field fine heard offers people stay time wishing
I told him I'd need to take some time to make some decisions, and he was fine with that. I'd like to stay on the field if I can. I've heard from a lot of people in baseball wishing me the best, but I don't have any offers yet.
hold smoked
That first inning was really a big inning. Dmitri smoked it. We couldn't hold 'em after that.
That first inning could have been something to get you going, ... But then it was, 'Ah! Here we go again.'
broke chance quite win
It's been too long. But you know what? We broke it. Tomorrow, we have a chance to win the series. Haven't had a chance to say that in quite a while.
year
This is kind of the way our year has been,
ball huge settled
Not too shabby. Getting out of that first inning was huge for him, because you could see he was nervous, but he got that big double-play ball and then he settled in.
beat hate
It wasn't pretty. We're a little beat up right now, and I for one don't like the way this is going. I hate it.
afraid expected situation unfamiliar win
It's not unfamiliar for me to come into a situation where you're not expected to win the World Series, ... I'm not afraid to work. I like working with young players. That part doesn't faze me all.
bothers charge easy love possibly quick stop
It's not easy right now. My stomach, I've got a knot. I don't like it at all. I am in charge so it is my responsibility. It bothers me. I'd love it to stop as quick as it possibly could.
feels great nice
It's always nice to win. It feels great to do it here.
deeper dig hit low pity point season time troops
It's time for the troops to dig a little deeper here. We get to find out what we're made of. We've hit pretty much a low point in the season for me, and there's no pity party.
good handled manager past stood tough
It toughens you up. Sometimes you go into little streaks of, why is this and this happening? I'm past that. If I'm going to be a manager and do this for a long period, these are things that can help. I want to look at some good times, but I've been through some tough things. I've stood up, and I handled them.
baseball hottest team
They're not the hottest team in baseball right now, like they were.
