except fair hit last looking
I thought we responded to everything well except for this last month. I think, looking back, it is fair to say that we hit a wall.
proud root ties whether
He has ties with the Tigers. He was there when I signed. Whether I'm there or not, I'll always be a Tiger, and I'll always root for the Tigers, because I'm a part of their history, and I'm proud of that.
nice rewarded
He's pitched some very nice ballgames. For him to be rewarded with a W, that's nice.
coming played
The first inning was the big inning. Coming out of the chute, we played real sloppy.
playoff win
This is a big win for the playoff situation,
free tried year

talked

scoring
The Sox haven't been scoring that many runs, ... but it didn't look that way to me.
shown year
I've said many times this year that at times, we can play with anybody, ... And we've shown that. We just haven't been consistent.
head runner
The runner has to keep his head up in that situation.
coffin gave innings jeremy location nail team three
I don't think Jeremy was sharp. Velocity-wise he was fine, but location he was not. He didn't have it. We got pounded. Honestly, it could have been worse. We scored in three innings and all three times we gave up runs. It's another nail in the coffin for a team that is already kind of fragile. It was not pretty.
home
If you don't want to play, go home -- but don't get paid, either.
