What's there not to like about this guy?
behind trying
We're trying to do some of the things they're doing. We're a little behind them -- but we started behind them.
deal monday worried
Monday will be a big day. But I'm fine. I'm not worried about it. I'll deal with it.
night stop tigers track
(Oakland) got back on track and we just couldn't stop them. It was just a night the Tigers got pounded.
easy talking
(Mauer's) no easy at-bat. We're going to be talking about him for years to come.
free tried year
Like a lot of guys, Pudge has tried to do too much. Yes, he's a free swinger -- to a limit. This year he has expanded his zone.
hit hot split swinging

bad missing teams

finish good sure
Obviously, you always like to win. I'm not sure if a good finish can make up for that month.
group grow work
When we started the season, we thought that we had a group we could grow and work with and try to get better,
chance good stays
There's a good chance he stays down in instructional ball,
guy question special
There's no question this guy has a special arm, but he's still a little raw.
talked
There's nothing that we haven't talked about before.
given players
I sense some players have given in a little, and that's unacceptable.
