You know, I warmed up, ... I didn't really move a lot. It was about a 10-minute warm-up. When I got out there and started moving, it just stiffened up on me, kind of similar to yesterday. You know, after the first couple games, I didn't feel too good about my chances.

I didn't feel clean with anything I was doing up there in Montreal. Obviously getting here and getting used to the conditions four, five days in advance will make a huge difference.

Somehow, Andy has to turn it around so that instead of chasing Federer, he's making Federer beat him. I would probably say don't counter him. Play your game. Strengthen your weaknesses. Make him change his game. If you're on him at the net, he has to find something else.
cared perspective tough
I've never cared so much as I care now, which makes it tough. I've been working very hard. It's tough for me to have much perspective right now.

All it could take is losing one service game and you're in a fourth set.
