That household is the happiest where all are satisfied and Content.
discard faith invented led lord malice path staff stories
The Lord is your Staff and Support. Do not discard it; do not be led away from the path of faith by stories invented by malice and circulated by spite.
elevated homeless mind pure torn trained
The trained mind is torn by fear; the pure elevated mind is placid and unruffled, like that of a homeless Sage.
famine field preachers schools spiritual
DO not preach; practice. In politics, in the field of administration, in schools and colleges, in spiritual institutions, everywhere, we have a surfeit of preachers but a famine of practitioners.
accepted continue earth faces fall true turn wander
They turn their faces away from the True Guru; they continue to wander aimlessly. They are not accepted by the earth or the sky; they fall into manure, and rot.
bitter man matter might scared
A man is not scared of the 'Past' i.e. bygone days, no matter how bitter it might have been.
appearance image man nature reality
Man is but the Image of God. Even Nature is but an appearance of God; the reality is He alone.
condemned serve stick
No one should be condemned as trash; even a little stick can serve as a toothpick!
destined forgotten lost merge people pilgrim precious reach time wander wasting
Every being is a pilgrim destined to reach Madhava and merge in Him; but most people have forgotten the road; they wander like lost children, wasting precious time in the by-paths.
duty ensure guidance keeps learned means noble people proper tribe
It is the duty of learned ones to ensure that the tribe of noble people keeps on growing. This they can do by means of proper guidance and tutelage.
beings call carries existing full highest jar placed time
A full jar has been placed upon Time; him, verily, we see existing in many forms. He carries away all these beings (worlds); they call him Time in the highest heaven.
conqueror gain victory
Gain is deposited in my right hand, victory in my left. Let me become a conqueror of cattle, horses, wealth, and gold!
task works
He, who works incessantly, accomplishes any task that he undertakes!
inferior rival shall superior women
Superior am I, O superior (plant), superior, truly, to superior (women). Now shall my rival be inferior to those that are inferior!
